Guidelines and or format
Framed prints in a 16 x 20 gallery type frame, black molding, glass or acrylic. No restriction on the mat or matting.
No wire hangers. The prints will be hung with a security type lock, which will cost the Makers approximate $3.00.
All prints will have on the back, title , print maker with phone number and address and price.
This is not a juried show, only a opportunity to sell your photography. Opening date is tentative at DEC 21. 2009.
Hotel Management will preview the show/prints in a un mounted 8 x 10 format. Subject matter is open however, they would like to see some prints with a St Augustine or a local theme. Suggested subjects ; landmarks, fishing or sail boats, harbor or marina , bridges and river or inter-coastal water ways, salt marsh and beaches / seascapes, birds or foul of the area and fauna / floral .
Sales still working on that. When a print is sold it will come down and be replaced.
This is open to all members. Limited to two prints.
Dates and time line;
DEC 2. Members submit two 8 x 10 prints with title and contact on the back. *
DEC 4. or ASAP Hotel Management will preview prints.
DEC 5. Contact Maker and advise them to have their print in show format
DEC 16. Show prints to be collected at the club meeting *
DEC 21. Hang Show.
* NOTE As there is no club meeting on the DEC 16, I will still be there to accept your framed prints, from 7 PM to 8 PM. If this wont work for you, call me to make other arrangements .
* Re: 8 x 10, what ever will best fit on a 8.5 x 11

Sales still working on that, it is possible the Maker will deal directly with the buyer.
Frame The frame must have a ridge or slot on the back for the metal locking screw to catch on. most frames have this.
This is a very high foot traffic area and a great time of the year to be selling. They rent 60,000 rooms a year, plus all the meetings, party's and restaurant activity.
